Hertford Infant & Nursery School

Our School Playground

We are working hard to improve the playground so that it is an attractive and stimulating place for the children to play in.

In the Summer of 2005 we had the wooden train and toadstools installed. They have proved to be very popular with the children.

The shelter has been well used by children and parents. It comes in useful on the hot sunny days as well as the wet ones!

In the summer of 2007 we added our wooden plane and car. These were picked for the school by the school's Class Councillors and despite a few hassles with the intial installation they have also proved to be a welcome addition to the playground.
A special thank you goes to parent, Tim Whittington who donated the extra money needed for these toys.

The children know that if they are feeling lonely or sad they can go and sit on the friendship spot and someone, either an adult or a child will see them and go and talk to them.
